Hello and welcome to our website. I am married and mum to three beautiful children. I was born in the U.K. and moved to India as a child. I spent many years in this beautiful country, and this experience formed and enhanced the person I am today, both personally and professionally.  I am a Psychology graduate and qualified as a counsellor from the University of Ulster in 2009. I further have a Level 5 Certificate in Mental Health Studies, a Level 5 Diploma in CBT and am an Accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Since qualifying, I have worked as Practice Counsellor for an established GP practice in Ballymena. I then went on to work in Suicide Prevention, as a telephone counsellor and seeing clients face-to-face in the community for a number of years. Since 2013 I have offered services from my private practice in Antrim Town and I also now teach counselling in the adult education sector.
I am also a Master Practitioner in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)/Tapping – please feel free to view my profile with the Guild of Energists –
Please see below for a full description of my experience and qualifications.

Experience: I am a member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) since 2006 and became an Accredited member in 2014 and as such am governed by their guidelines and governance. The BACP awards Accreditation to Counsellors with a high level of experience and Continued Professional Development (ongoing training), through a stringent process of self-reflection and record keeping.
I attend monthly supervision at all times that I am in practise. My experience includes 4 years counselling with a GP’s practise, 5 years with suicide prevention helpline as a telephone counsellor, bank shift leader and seeing clients in the community, 5 years in private practise, and 1.5 years as a teacher of counselling courses in adult education.
